Background
The Dairy Avenue and H Street Project is part of the District’s Main Renewal and Seismic Improvement Program. The project includes open cut trench installation of approximately 4,700 feet of pipe to replace aging infrastructure and improve water service reliability. As part of the installation, associated fittings, valves, water service laterals, fire hydrants, and other appurtenances will also be replaced.
Status
Construction is anticipated to occur between December 2024 and October 2025 and will be performed by JMB Construction, Inc.
Location
City of Newark project work is located on Dugan Court and on Dairy Avenue between Mulberry Street and Cherry Street.
City of Union City project work is located on H Street between Alvarado-Niles Road and Colgate Drive, on 13th Street between H Street and I Street, on 4th Street between F Street and G Street and, on G Street between 2nd Street and 3rd Street.
