Landscape Water Use Efficiency Awards
ACWD awards local businesses and organizations with outstanding water use efficiency efforts who tracked at or below their annual landscape water use budget, calculated using weather and site-specific characteristics. Water use efficiency efforts contribute to our community’s water supply reliability and are valued as California experiences extreme weather variability as a result of climate change. ACWD thanks and appreciates these local organizations for doing their part to conserve water. We encourage them to continue demonstrating leadership in the Tri-City area during 2023 and beyond. The following organizations participate in the California Green Business Program which helps prevent pollution, reduce waste, conserve natural resources, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. These organizations support ACWD’s efforts to increase water use efficiency in the Tri-City area. ACWD assists with certifying businesses by conducting the water use efficiency auditing portion of the certification. Please click on the links below for a list of Certified Green Businesses in each city in the Tri-City area. Green Businesses are recertified every three to four years. The lists below are the most recent data available. Please check in with businesses directly regarding hours of operation and other information.
