ACWD Board of Directors Adopts Bimonthly Service Charge and Water Consumption Charge
On Thursday, February 9, the ACWD Board of Directors approved a 2-year water rate increase. Effective March 1, 2017, water rates will increase by 20 percent. Effective March 1, 2018, water rates will increase by 5 percent. This page contains information that was provided to customers prior to the public hearing.

Effect on Single-Family Residential Customers  

The average single-family residential customer currently uses about 16 units of water in a two-month billing cycle, or about 200 gallons per day. The chart below shows the estimated impact on a typical residential customer who uses 16 units of water.
